January Prayer Points

24th-30th January

  • Airdrie –  Give thanks for the resumption of our congregational prayer meeting by Zoom.  Pray that this time would be a blessing to us.
  • Glasgow –  Pray for Rev. Kenneth Stewart as he considers the call from the Loughbrickland congregation.
  • North Edinburgh –    Pray for the physical and spiritual growth of the congregation.
  • Stornoway –  Pray for the recording of their evangelistic service this past Lord’s Day that is being shared with friends and family.  Pray also for Rev. Stephen McCollum as he preaches on the local radio station for this coming Lord’s Day.
  • Stranraer –  After being largely untouched by coronavirus, in January Stranraer had more cases per population than any other town in Scotland. Pray that God might wake people up to eternal realities.
  • The Gambia – Give thanks for the opportunity the church in The Gambia had to provide food supplies for their neighbours during this difficult time.

 

17th-23rd January

  • Airdrie –  Pray for the resumption of Kids Club and Girls Group online. Pray that these groups would be a help to these children and young people to learn more about the Lord and put their trust in Him.
  • Glasgow –  Pray that the Lord would keep the congregation spiritually strong during this time of lockdown.
  • North Edinburgh –    Pray that the Lord would keep the congregation spiritually strong during this time of lockdown.
  • Stornoway –  Pray for their evangelistic service this coming Lord’s Day.  Pray that those who have been invited will come along.
  • Stranraer – Give thanks for three new members in the past months.

 

10th-16th January

  • Airdrie –  Please continue to pray for the congregation in their time of vacancy.
  • Glasgow –  Pray for Rev. Kenneth Stewart as he considers a call to Loughbrickland RPCI.
  • North Edinburgh –  Pray that the Lord would continue to add to the congregation.
  • Stornoway – Give thanks for the safe birth of Knox McCollum.
  • Stranraer –    Pray for the health of the congregation during this time of a local Covid outbreak.

 

3rd-9th January
