January Prayer Points
24th-30th January
- Louisville RPC – Please keep Tre in your prayers. He started feeling ill last night (23rd).
- Dallas RPC – We had the joy of receiving Mr. Sheridan Prakashpalan into communicant membership by his taking the covenant of communicant membership. Sheridan was a baptized member who took this necessary step of expressing his personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord for His covenant mercies in Christ!
- Hudson-St Lazare RPC – Please pray for upcoming community outreach ministry in 2021.
- Hillside RPC – Pray that God would use this pandemic to His Glory and unify churches and that it would make Church Bodies thirst for when they can meet again in person and worship publicly.
17th-23rd January
- Chile RPC – Please be in prayer for the families across the street from our meeting place who lost homes this Lord’s Day past to a fire. Eight houses were lost. Men from Lo Prado were able to assist. Fortunately, none was seriously hurt, but the neighbors suffered the loss of almost all they had.
- Southfield RPC – Pray for the family of Alice Joseph as they mourn her death.
- Geneva College – Pray for the students as they return to classes.
- Japan RPC – Please PRAY for Okamoto Keiyaku RPC as they are working on renovating their parsonage. Rev. Kihei Takiura and his family are planning to move in after the work is completed.
PRAY for all the young folk who attend camp that God would build up believers and strengthenthem, and they would be used mightily by Him. PRAY for our young people that God would upholdand deliver them from earthly temptations and the evil one who seeks to destroy.
- Hudson-St Lazare RPC – Please pray that the Lord uses our current online services to reach those in the community who do not know about us and who need to hear the gospel.
10th-16th January
- Orlando RPC – We are rejoicing with the Orlando Reformed Presbyterian Church as Rev Nathan Eshelman has agreed to be their new pastor! Pray for the Eshelman family as they prepare to move across the country and for the congregation in L.A who will miss them dearly!
- Hudson-St Lazare RPC – Give thanks for continued health among members of our congregation (no COVID-19).
3rd-9th January
- RPTS – Please keep in your prayers, Dr. C.J. Williams and the entire Williams Family as Dr. Williams’ father, Frank, entered the church triumphant on December 18th.
- RPTS – We give thanks to the Lord that we were able to finish the year meeting physically for classes.
- Denison RPC – Give thanks for the ordination and installation of Mr Caleb Allen as their minister. We’re thanking Jesus that He continues to be faithful to his church in giving pastors to shepherd the flock. May God bless Pastor and people as they labour together, serving Christ our King!
- Pray for the Pacific Coast Presbytery online youth retreat on Saturday. Pray for Rev. David Hanson as he speaks at it.

Japan – GIVE THANKS for the ordination of two new ruling elders, Mr. Ohara and Mr. Jung, inMukonoso RPC in May. Please PRAY that they would lead and pastor the congregation accordingto the Scripture. Also, PRAY that the Lord would raise new ruling elders in other congregations.
- The Russell RPC (Russell, ON) has just mailed nearly 7000 postcards to their local community. Please pray for the homes that will be receiving a postcard this week. Pray that people would be interested in connecting with the congregation and that good relationships would be forged.
- Pray for the churches in Ontario (Almonte, Kitchener, New Creation, Ottawa, Toronto, and Russell), which have just entered a season of province-wide lockdown. Pray that these congregations would remain faithful and close-knit and would not lose heart during this trying season. Pray for wisdom for the pastors and elders.
